After Sid had bandaged himself up they gathered in a circle, to his left was the aforementioned Taco, in front of him was this mountain of a man with long blonde hair, bob, his name was apparently. He thought that was it originally, but then he heard a door slam to his left and he looked, a round bearded man who was almost as tall as bob walked nonchalantly into the circle to the right of Sid, he looked vaguely like Silent Bob. “alright light that shit up, Sid” Taco said calmly, he took hold of the pipe, lit the bud and inhaled slowly, he started coughing violently “that’s…..good…..shit” he said between coughs. He passed it to his left and felt a little ashamed when everyone else didn’t cough once, except lunch box, who coughed excessively after his turn. The circle split apart after they finished the bowl “come, let’s talk” Taco told Sid so they both moved for a broken down couch in front of an old black and white T.V.
When he sat down he looked around the room, there were blood stains everywhere, Bob was in the other side of the room sparring with a punching bag. Lunch Box was staring out the window singing an old flogging molly song “No her love never set me free So I set off for the ocean, Now in my dreams she comes to me Whispering of peace, But I've known since the day That we sailed for Santiago, Her dry embrace would kiss my face No never, No more.” He felt like asking the obvious “what’s with all the blood stains?” he asked “some of it is from when Bob and Lunch Box spar, the rest is from other assassination attempts” She answered “you didn’t honestly think you were the first to try, did you?” Sid didn’t know what to say, the thought hadn’t crossed his mind, he was hoping the question was rhetorical. “Sorry about shooting your little buddy down there, hope you don’t mind” she said after a while “don’t worry about it, he wasn’t all that interesting either way” Sid said in a very relaxed voice “I’m eager to see why you spared my life to be honest.”
They sat there on the couch watching an old VHS of Mr. Ed, after a while Sid finally said something “you know, this whole city used to be an isolated marsh” he stated, “wait, how old are you?” she asked “I’m not actually sure, I don’t remember much of my childhood anymore so it must’ve been a long time ago, I only remember that bad parts now.” “I only remember your mom’s bad parts” she added jokingly “my mom was brutally slaughtered by my father” he stated coldly, it grew quiet. “Awkwaaaaard….”she said after a while, “remind me to never make your mom jokes around you, you fucking ruin them” Sid thought about it “sorry, Taco.” Suddenly Lunch Box chimed in “Aren’t you the one who’s trying to take down Globo-chem?” He asked, he spoke slowly “I….might be involved with such a mission” Sid said reluctantly “HEH, good luck with that, man, there’s more at work there than you know.” Lunch Box chuckled “Oh I know, I know all too well.” Sid said leaning back on the couch.
