The outside world was getting brighter out after a few more hours, it was time for him to get ready for work. He removed his head from the filthy window and took a shower, trying hard to get the blood stains out. He looked in the mirror, same face staring back at him; he slicked his hair back to hide how stringy it is. Buttoned up his suit and took a final look in the mirror, he looked like an asshole, which is exactly what he was going for.
He stepped quickly down the stairs and out the door, the light blinded him momentarily. In a daze he walked down the street, he saw a bloody cadaver against the wall with a knife sticking out of his remaining eye; he stopped for a moment to admire his handiwork. A considerably large puddle of blood had formed around the stiff; he decided to keep walking before he raised suspicions. It seems it was a little too late for that.
A blue compact car pulled up next to him “you really did a number on that guy Sid” the man inside said between chuckles “really nice work, never knew you were an artist”. Sid got a little closer to look inside the car; it was Dave, his friend from work “need a ride?” Sid thought about it for a second “sure, don’t see why not”. He went around and got in the passenger side, “so, how’d you know I killed that guy?” Sid asked after a while “you aren’t the only one with connections, Sid, we have more in common than you think” Dave said coolly. “you and me, Sid, have the same kind of hobbies” he said with a slight chuckle “and let’s just say we both have ‘multiple jobs’” Sid knew what he was getting at, but he had no clue how someone who seemed as normal as Dave could be like him.”.” Sick minds think alike” Sid said, he slowly started realizing they drove past the offices a while ago "um, where are we going?" he asked after a while. "We have a job to do Sid".
